Occupational Therapist
We are seeking both a Staff and a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Older Adult Assessment and Rehabilitation Team in an acute setting based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive hospital setting providing high-quality care to older adults.
The Role:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for older adults in an inpatient assessment and rehabilitation setting.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
- Support patients to achieve their maximum independence and quality of life through rehabilitation programmes and person-centred care.
- Senior role will involve supervision of junior staff, students, and service development initiatives.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration.
- For Staff Grade: Experience working as an OT, ideally in a hospital, older adult, or rehabilitation setting.
- For Senior Grade: A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with significant experience in rehabilitation or older adult services.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
