Occupational therapist
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a Community Mental Health Team in Dublin. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in supporting service users on their recovery journey while working as part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to adults with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for service users.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused mental health care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with service users and colleagues.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.
Essential Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
- Experience working in adult mental health services.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented and person-centred approaches.
