Medforce Recruitment is delighted to partner with a progressive Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Crumlin to recruit a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated, family-centred multidisciplinary team supporting children with complex needs and developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and support to children aged 0–18 with a range of physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, and the multidisciplinary team to support the child’s participation and independence
- Develop individualised care plans and deliver therapy in clinic, school, home, and community settings
- Participate in family forums, team meetings, and care planning
- Contribute to service delivery, team initiatives, and quality improvement projects
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- CORU registration (essential)
- Experience working with children or in disability services is desirable
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical reasoning skills
- A full driver’s licence and access to transport is advantageous for community visits
