Occupational Therapist
Our client is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Laois. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, family-centered care to children and young people with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide tailored interventions to support children’s development and independence.
- Work collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists in a team-based model of care.
- Support families and caregivers by offering guidance and strategies to enhance daily living skills.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans in line with best practices.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and CORU registration.
- Experience working with children and young people with disabilities (placement experience considered).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to providing child- and family-centered care.
