Occupational Therapist
Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families? Medforce Healthcare is partnering with the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Portlaoise, to recruit a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality, family-centred care to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people on the CDNT caseload.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
- Support families and caregivers by providing strategies, education, and guidance.
- Contribute to service planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Previous experience working with children and/or disability services is desirable but not essential.
