Occupational Therapist
Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Louth. Role Overview:
As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will work as part of an experienced CDNT providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and young people with complex needs. You will collaborate with families, carers, and other allied health professionals to support children in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to children with a range of developmental needs.
- Work closely with families and carers to provide support, education, and advice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and social workers.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Contribute to service planning, audits, and team development initiatives.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children or in a disability setting is desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Access to own transport and a full driver’s licence.
