Occupational Therapist
About the Role
Our client in Louth is seeking both Staff and Senior Occupational Therapists to join their multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in an acute hospital setting, working with patients of all ages and conditions to improve their functional abilities and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
For Staff Grade:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to support recovery and rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about strategies for maximizing independence.
For Senior Grade:
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex cases.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and training to junior staff and students.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of occupational therapy services within the hospital.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
Requirements
For Staff Grade:
- A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and CORU registration.
For Senior Grade:
- A minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in an acute hospital setting.
- Experience leading complex cases and mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care to patients.
