Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Navan. This role offers the opportunity to work in an acute hospital setting, providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in an acute hospital or healthcare setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
