Health Care Assistant

Medforce are looking for experienced Health Care Assistants to work Day Shifts in Hospital, Nursing home and residential settings in Dublin City Centre.

You must have a valid QQI Level 5 in Healthcare.

Qualifications Required

· QQI Level 5 qualification equivalent in a relevant healthcare discipline or be working towards one.

· 6 months paid working experience in a healthcare setting.

· Proof of immunity for Hepatitis B, MMR and Varicella

CPR, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, Safeguarding for Vulnerable Adults and Children First Training Certificates (Must be up to date)

Main Purpose of Job

· To work cooperatively with the permanent and agency staff to provide high quality care to the patients.

· To promote a caring environment for patients and assist them in their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs.

· To communicate with patients and ensure they are comfortable at all times and all their needs are met.
