Dietician
Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Dietitian to join a supportive Adult Acute Service covering Kildare and Wicklow.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with adults across community and residential settings, delivering evidence-based nutritional assessment and intervention to a diverse caseload. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and improving health outcomes for adults with a range of complex nutritional needs.
The Role
As a Staff Grade Dietitian, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage the nutritional needs of adult service users across community and residential settings.
- Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans based on best practice and clinical evidence.
- Provide dietary advice for a broad range of conditions, including malnutrition, chronic disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, neurological conditions, and older persons’ care.
- Work collaboratively with Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and support patients, families, carers, and healthcare staff to promote optimal nutritional care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Dietetics.
- CORU registration.
- Previous experience working with adult caseloads is desirable.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car is desirable.
