The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care through the provision of advanced ultrasound imaging services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Provide leadership and expertise in the development, implementation, and evaluation of ultrasound protocols and procedures.
- Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Maintain and update knowledge of current trends, techniques, and advancements in ultrasound technology.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate qualification (Level 9) in Ultrasound.
- CORU registration as a Radiographer.
- Significant experience in clinical ultrasound, with a focus on advanced imaging techniques.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
