Clinical Nurse Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) based in Kilkenny to provide clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in our nursing home. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Director of Nursing (DON), the CNM will oversee day-to-day nursing operations, support staff, and ensure compliance with clinical governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance support.
- Oversee care planning, clinical documentation, and resident assessments.
- Ensure medication management and clinical practices comply with HIQA standards and company policies.
- Conduct audits, monitor hygiene, and support risk management initiatives.
- Foster effective teamwork and communication across the clinical team.
- Engage with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure person-centred care.

Qualifications & Experience
- Registered nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and hold an active pin.
- Previous experience in a clinical leadership role.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
