Medforce Recruitment are excited to announce We are recruiting a Compassionate, Empathetic and Hard-working Behavioural Therapist to join a Children’s team in Navan.
This role demands excellent team working, leadership and communication skills and an innovative and committed approach to providing high quality patient care.
Role: Contract role beginning with a 12 month contract, full time position, 35 hours per week across Monday -Friday with excellent training, CPD and benefits on offer.
Salary range from €56,353 – €66,300 per annum, plus 27 days holidays and 10 bank holidays.
Purpose: To provide a quality, evidence -based Behavioural Therapy service to Children with intellectual disability, secondary physical disability and/or sensory impairment, in consultation with their families, carers and staff.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Master’s degree in applied Behaviour Analysis (M.Sc. in ABA) is essential.
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology or any relevant discipline is essential.
- Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification is desirable.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in behaviour support roles, carrying out functional assessments and supporting community/ social care and/or home support and/or educational staff teams to implement behaviour analytic interventions for people with an ASD diagnosis and other neurodevelopmental disabilities and/or other co-occurring conditions is essential.
- Knowledge of current best practice in the area of behaviour support and evidence-based practice in the support of children with ASD diagnosis is essential.
- Drivers License is essential for this role
