This is a key leadership role to support the Director of Nursing in leading clinical excellence, staff development, and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor nursing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, compassionate care.

Develop and implement policies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Foster a positive, professional workplace culture that supports learning and collaboration.

Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, clinical governance, and risk management.

Combine clinical expertise with strategic decision-making to enhance care and efficiency.
Requirements

NMBI registration (General Division).

EU passport or valid work visa.
-
7+ years post-registration, incl. 2+ in senior leadership (CNM2/CNM3 or equivalent).

BSc in Nursing Management; MSc in Leadership/Healthcare Management desirable.

In-depth knowledge of HIQA, patient safety, and governance.
