Speech And Language Therapist
We are currently recruiting a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join the Adult Primary Care Team based in South Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality assessment and intervention for adults with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across community and primary care settings.
The Role:
As a Senior Speech & Language Therapist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage adults presenting with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and dysphagia disorders.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions in clinic, home, residential, and community settings.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Public Health Nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff and students.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE standards.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
- CORU registration.
- A minimum of three years’ post-qualification clinical experience.
- Experience working with adult clients, including dysphagia management.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills.
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car is desirable.
