Speech And Language Therapist
Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting a Speech & Language Therapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Trim, Co. Meath.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, family-centred services to children and young people aged 0–18 years with complex developmental and disability-related needs. The role follows the HSE’s Progressing Disability Services (PDS) model and offers a varied and rewarding paediatric caseload.
The Role
As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for children with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties
- Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Therapy Assistants
- Deliver family-centred care through coaching, education, and collaborative goal setting
- Support children across clinic, home, preschool, school, and community settings
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development initiatives
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy
- CORU registration or eligibility for registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car is desirable
