Physiotherapist
We are currently recruiting Staff and Senior Physiotherapists to join Adult and Paediatric Primary Care Teams across Louth and Meath.
These are excellent opportunities to work within supportive multidisciplinary community teams providing high-quality physiotherapy services to both adult and paediatric populations. Roles are available across a variety of primary care settings, with flexibility depending on the candidate’s experience and clinical interests.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention within adult or paediatric primary care services
- Manage a varied caseload including musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental, rehabilitation, and mobility-related presentations
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and home programmes
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members including Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, and Social Work
- Support service users and families to maximise independence, function, and quality of life
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and service development initiatives
Senior Grade Responsibilities (in addition to above)
- Manage complex clinical caseloads
- Provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff and students
- Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support leadership and coordination within the physiotherapy service
Requirements for the Physiotherapist:
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- CORU registration
- For Staff Grade: relevant clinical or placement experience
- For Senior Grade: minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Desirable
- Experience in adult primary care, paediatrics, disability, rehabilitation, or community services
- Access to own transport and full driver’s licence
- Experience delivering group rehabilitation or parent education programmes
