Senior Psychologist
The successful candidate will provide individual and group interventions to inpatients at Roscommon University Hospital as part of their Multidisciplinary recovery orientated care plan. This role will specialise in the treatment of Adults with Mental Health.
Responsibilities of Senior Psychologist
- Deliver psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to Adult Mental Health Services.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated, recovery-focused care.
- Where required offer supervision, guidance, and support to trainee and staff psychologists.
- Contribute to clinical audit, research, and service evaluation to inform service development.
- Provide consultation and training to other professionals where required.
Requirements of Senior Psychologist
- Recognised qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- Meet employment criteria for employment by HSE Adult psychology services.
- Relevant experience within mental health or related clinical settings.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and case formulation skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and recovery-oriented care.
