Physiotherapist
Medforce are recruiting on behalf of the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, who are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join their interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a child-centred, family-focused service that supports children and young people aged 0–18 with complex needs.
About the Role:
You will work as part of a supportive CDNT providing physiotherapy assessment, intervention and collaborative care planning. The successful candidate will work closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and other key professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
Applications are welcome from both Staff Grade Physiotherapists and Senior Physiotherapists, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
• Provide physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised, evidence-based intervention plans
• Support children with a range of physical, developmental and neurological needs
• Work collaboratively with families, carers and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences and service development initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with CORU and HSE standards
• Manage and prioritise a diverse caseload within a family-centred practice model
Requirements for the Physiotherapist:
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
• Experience working with children or within disability services (desirable for Staff Grade; essential for Senior Grade)
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Full driving licence and access to a car is an advantage
