Medforce Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing.

This is a key leadership role to support the Director of Nursing in leading clinical excellence, staff development, and patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor nursing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, compassionate care.

• Develop and implement policies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

• Foster a positive, professional workplace culture that supports learning and collaboration.

• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, clinical governance, and risk management.

• Combine clinical expertise with strategic decision-making to enhance care and efficiency.

Requirements

• NMBI registration (General Division).

• EU passport or valid work visa.

• 7+ years post-registration, incl. 2+ in senior leadership (CNM2/CNM3 or equivalent).

• BSc in Nursing Management; MSc in Leadership/Healthcare Management desirable.

• In-depth knowledge of HIQA, patient safety, and governance.
