Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Support patients with mobility, exercise, and rehabilitation activities as directed by healthcare professionals.

Assist with eating and drinking, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.

Contribute to wound care and dressing changes under supervision.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Follow hospital policies, procedures, and protocols while ensuring compliance with health and safety and infection control standards.

Record observations and promptly report any changes in patient condition.

Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
-
Full QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (8 modules) completed (essential).

Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential).
