About the Service:
The Sexual Health Service for Donegal, Sligo, and Leitrim provides free, confidential Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) services to key at-risk populations. Consultant-led and nurse-supported, the Sligo clinic operates two evening clinics weekly and has been active since 1996.
Role Overview:
Provide clinical support in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of clients attending the Sligo Sexual Health Clinic for STI-related services. The position is integral to the delivery of quality care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Attend and deliver clinical services during scheduled evening clinics

Conduct sexual health assessments and genital examinations

Diagnose and treat STIs; prescribe and administer PrEP, doxyPEP, and vaccinations

Collaborate with Consultants and nurses in delivering care

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support team protocols
Requirements:

Irish Medical Council registration (current)
-
Clinical experience in sexual health, STI, or GUM services
-
Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in Ireland
