Occupational Therapist
Are you a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of adults with mental health challenges? We are seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a supportive, community-based Adult Mental Health Team in Limerick.
Role Overview:
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will focus on promoting recovery, independence, and social inclusion through meaningful occupation.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Assess occupational performance and develop client-centered intervention plans
- Deliver individual and group-based therapy programmes
- Collaborate closely with MDT colleagues, families, and community supports
- Contribute to the development of service initiatives and promote best practice
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience or strong interest in adult mental health (placement experience considered)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
