Occupational Therapist
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Occupational Therapist to join an adult community-based service in Dublin.
The role primarily involves home-based assessments and interventions for adults with varied and often complex needs. You will be joining a small, experienced OT department committed to client-centred care in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Deliver OT assessment and intervention to adults in their homes and surrounding areas
- Manage a caseload with complex presentations including medical, neurological, disability, palliative, and seating needs
- Contribute to timely documentation, goal setting, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Support service delivery within a high-demand setting with long wait times and limited staffing
Essential Criteria for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current CORU registration
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle (home visits are a core part of the role)
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in any of the following areas:
- Adult primary care
- Adult disability
- Neurological or palliative care
- Seating and postural assessments
- Complex case management
- Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and resilience in the face of service challenges
