About the Role
As a Recruitment Placement Coordinator at Medforce, you’ll be the key link between healthcare clients and our workforce of dedicated professionals. Your focus will be on scheduling shifts, coordinating placements, and maintaining high standards of compliance and service.
You’ll work across a 24/7 rota, supporting hospitals, clinical services, and homecare environments. This role involves evening and weekend shifts, reflecting the real-time demands of healthcare staffing. You’ll work closely with a supportive, collaborative team and enjoy opportunities for career growth and progression.
Key Responsibilities of the Placement Coordinator:
- Handle incoming calls and emails from clients, taking and entering new shift requests into our bespoke scheduling system.
- Coordinate and schedule healthcare workers into shifts that match their qualifications, availability, and client requirements.
- Proactively call candidates to confirm availability and ensure continued compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations.
- Build strong working relationships with both clients and staff, ensuring excellent service and quick resolution of any issues.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments to ensure all placements run smoothly and any queries are resolved promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the scheduling system.
- Support the Recruitment Team by identifying gaps in shift coverage and sourcing appropriate candidates in real time.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency at all times.

Shift Pattern
This is a rotational role covering 5 out of 7 days, with a blend of weekday, evening, and weekend coverage.
- Early Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Flexibility is essential, as evening and weekend work is a core part of this role to reflect the continuous nature of healthcare staffing demands.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in scheduling, recruitment coordination, healthcare staffing, or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a healthcare or agency environment is an advantage but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new scheduling software and databases.
