Our client is seeking Staff Grade Physiotherapists to join the HSE Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with diverse physical disabilities and provide essential physiotherapy services in a family-centered, multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children with physical disabilities.
- Provide physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists.
- Support families and caregivers in implementing physiotherapy strategies at home.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in service development initiatives.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- A recognized qualification in Physiotherapy and CORU registration.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a disability or paediatric setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for providing evidence-based, person-centered care.
Desirable:
- Experience with children with complex physical disabilities.
