About the Role:
Medforce Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate Staff Grade and Senior Psychologists to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Meath. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with complex needs and developmental disabilities, helping them reach their full potential in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized care and treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
- Provide consultation, guidance, and training to families and other team members.
- For Senior Psychologists: Offer clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff, contributing to service development and improvement.
- Engage in research, audits, and continuous professional development to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Recognized qualification in Psychology (Clinical, Educational, or Counselling Psychology).
- CORU registration (or eligibility for registration).
- Relevant experience working with children and young people with disabilities or developmental needs.
- For Senior Psychologist: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a relevant setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to family-centered, inclusive care.
