About the Role:
Our client is seeking dedicated Staff and Senior Physiotherapists to join their Adult Neurodegenerative Care team in Louth. This rewarding role focuses on supporting adults aged 18-65 with neurodegenerative conditions, delivering high-quality care to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide tailored physiotherapy assessments and interventions, working closely with patients, families, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy for adults with neurodegenerative conditions.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and nursing staff.
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers.
- Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff and students (Senior role).
Requirements:
Staff Grade:
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy.
- CORU registration (or eligibility).
- Experience with neurodegenerative conditions is advantageous.
Senior Grade:
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy.
- CORU registration.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience, including experience working with neurodegenerative conditions.
- Strong clinical reasoning and mentoring skills.
