Job Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Psychologist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Tipperary. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with complex needs, helping them achieve their full potential through psychological assessments, interventions, and collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s needs.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with families and caregivers.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to junior psychologists and team members.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and service planning to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with professional and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized qualification in Psychology, with eligibility for professional registration in Ireland.
- Substantial post-qualification experience in working with children and young people with disabilities.
- Expertise in psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
