Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday
Contract: 6 months
About the Role:
Medforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join a dynamic acute healthcare team in beautiful West Cork. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient group in an acute setting, providing high-quality physiotherapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide advanced physiotherapy treatments and techniques to patients with varying acute conditions.
- Actively participate in discharge planning and liaise with community healthcare services as needed.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy department.
Requirements:
- CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
- 3+ years of post-graduate physiotherapy experience, ideally with experience in an acute or hospital setting.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Full driver’s license and access to a car is desirable.
