Medforce are proud to be working alongside a Children’s Network Disability Team in Meath to bring to market this Psychotherapist, we are looking for someone with experience working with autistic young people presenting with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, low mood.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a specialist service for patients with a diagnosis for CBT who require support and treatment through the continuum of care.
- Undertake comprehensive patient assessment to include physical, psychological, social and spiritual elements of care using best evidence-based practice in (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) care, Use the outcomes of patient assessment to develop and implement plans of care/case management in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and the patient, family and/or carer as appropriate.
- Work with autistic young people presenting with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, low mood.
- Accept appropriate referrals from MDT colleagues.
- Co-ordinate investigations, treatment therapies and patient follow-up.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years post qualification experience, or equivalent.
- Experience working with a variety of clients reflecting a wide range of clinical presentations.
- Fully accredited
- Experience working with young people with diverse needs.
- Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise own work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge and experience of Autism.
