Assistant Director of Nursing
Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing for a modern, purpose-built nursing home set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens in Co. Cavan.
Requirements
· Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) on the register of nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
· Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience within a minimum of two years experience in Care of the older person at within the previous 6 years.
· Have depth knowledge of the ageing process.
· Post – registration management qualification.
· Qualification in Gerontology and/or Dementia would be desirable.
· Demonstrate an ability to embrace change and be committed to continuous improvement and learning throughout the residential care home.
· Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines.
· Have the skill to influence others, build constructive relationships and achieve outcomes.
· Appreciation of finance issues.
