Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with disabilities and a strong commitment to improving their communication skills and overall quality of life. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children, as well as collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to create comprehensive and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with families and professionals.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Educate parents and caregivers on support techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bsc in Speech-Language or related field.
- CORU registered
- Experience with children with disabilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
