Staff grade Occupational Therapist (Neuro Rehabilitation)

Medforce Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Self-motivated, Enthusiastic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist to join a friendly, supportive, dynamic specialist team in a highly reputable Rehabilitation Hospital in south Dublin.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Staff grade Occupational Therapist to join an inter-disciplinary specialist team.

This highly regarded hospital provides complex specialist Rehabilitation services to patients who, as a result of an accident, illness or Injury, have acquired a physical or cognitive disability and require a specialist programme of rehabilitation. 

Purpose of the Position As a member of the Occupational Therapy and Interdisciplinary team, to provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to patients under the care of the clinical programme to which they are assigned. To do this both by treating the patients directly and by delegating work to therapy assistants working with the discipline and the programme. This post consolidates and builds on graduate skills and knowledge.

Liaison / Communication

Patients, their families and carers. All members of the Occupational Therapy Department, particularly those providing specialist services to patients for whom you are responsible such as the Vocational Assessment Service, Discharge Liaison Occupational Therapy Service, Splinting, Seating etc. Outside agencies to whom patients are being referred or from whom referrals have been received and in particular Community Occupational Therapists. Members of other departments of the hospital as required.  Occupational Therapy Practice Tutor in relation to students for whom you are Practice Educator.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join this amazing, busy, dynamic, friendly, specialist team with excellent support and supervision in place.

Salary range €41,075- €55,000 per annum plus excellent HSE benefits and a Pension. There will be opportunities and support for Continuing Professional Development and career progression.

Role: Full-time, Permanent position with excellent benefits and CPD.
