Staff Grade Occupational Therapist
Are you a recently qualified or experienced Occupational Therapist? Are you eager to build on your acute experience in a range of clinical areas?
Medforce Recruitment are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Staff Grade Occupational Therapist on behalf of a large acute hospital in West Dublin.
Due to growth our client has vacancies in Orthopaedics’, Care of the Elderly, Medical, Surgical, Hand Therapy and plastics and Medical Assessment unit.
These posts are an excellent opportunity to develop clinically and as you progress with learning opportunities in service development and leadership to effectively evolve as a Senior Occupational Therapist.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, dynamic and supportive team with excellent structures and supervision.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunties.
Requirements
- Be registered or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Experience working in an acute setting desirable.
- Proven ability of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to services and risk management
- The ability to develop and maintain a safe, harmonious environment for staff and patients
- Emphasising professional development and teamwork at all times.
- Effective communication skills and excellent administrative skills and computer literacy with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of building positive working relationships with clients, their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.
