Job Title: Staff Grade Dietician
Location: North Dublin
Salary: Competitive, in line with HSE pay scales
Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday
Contract: 6 months
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join their multidisciplinary team in a mental health setting, providing high-quality care to adults with mental health challenges. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting physical well-being and rehabilitation through individualized treatment plans, working closely with clients to enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for adults with mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers.
- Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients on the importance of physical activity for mental health and overall well-being.
- Document and maintain detailed client records in line with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with CORU.
- Proven experience in working with adults, preferably in mental health or a similar setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently.
- Empathy and a person-centered approach to care.
Desirable:
- Experience in mental health rehabilitation or working with clients with complex needs.
- Knowledge of relevant interventions, such as exercise therapy and physical rehabilitation for mental health.
