About the Role:
Medforce Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading healthcare provider in Cork to recruit passionate and dedicated Staff and Senior Physiotherapists specializing in Women’s Health. These roles offer the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, helping women across all life stages address their unique physical health needs.
As a Women’s Health Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to manage issues such as pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal and postnatal rehabilitation, and menopause-related conditions. You’ll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored treatments that empower women to achieve their best health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of women’s health issues, including pelvic floor and musculoskeletal concerns.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide education and support for prenatal and postnatal care, addressing issues such as diastasis recti, pelvic girdle pain, and incontinence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, gynecologists, and midwives, to ensure holistic care.
- Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects (Senior Physiotherapist role).
- Mentor and provide clinical supervision to junior physiotherapists and students (Senior Physiotherapist role).
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional standards of care.
Requirements:
- A recognized degree in Physiotherapy.
- CORU registration or eligibility to register.
- For Staff Physiotherapist: Previous experience in Women’s Health is advantageous but not essential.
- For Senior Physiotherapist: A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in Women’s Health.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to professional development and delivering person-centered care.
