Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday
Contract: 6 months
About the Role:
Our client are seeking dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapists to join our Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Carlow. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and their families, helping to provide essential therapeutic services to children with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy for children and young people, supporting their development and well-being.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Social Workers.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each child’s unique needs.
- Liaise with families, caregivers, and other professionals to optimize care and support for children.
Requirements:
- For Staff Grade: Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU.
- For Senior Grade: Proven experience in paediatric or disability settings, with at least three years of post-qualification experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to providing family-centered, high-quality care.
