Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday

Medforce, a proud provider of recruitment services to the HSE are delighted to announce that we are currently hiring for a Senior or Staff grade Occupational Therapist for a highly renowned acute and rehabilitation service in County Louth.
Are you passionate about helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life? Our client provides exceptional care and rehabilitation services. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team.
The Staff or Senior Grade Occupational Therapist will deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to designated clinical areas of the hospital. This role is split between two locations – Drogheda will cover acute services and Dundalk will cover rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ functional abilities and independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living activities.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bsc/Msc in Occupational Therapy
- CORU registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Access to a car and driver’s licence
- Experience in acute care and rehabilitation services preferred, but not required.
