Speech and Language Therapist – Childrens disabilities
If you are a Speech and Language Therapist passionate about working with Children with disabilities, I would like to hear from you. I will discuss this role with Assistants, Staff or Senior Grade Speech and Language Assistants.
Medforce are seeking a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join a friendly, dynamic, supportive Children Disability network team in County Louth and covering as well Bettystown, you will join a strong collaborative multi disclipinary team with excellent continouous improvement structure in place.
Main duties of the job:
To provide speech and Language Therapy services to children in a modern, hard working children’s disability service. The children will have acquired communication disorders, and/or speech and/or language disorders, and/or eating, drinking and swallowing disorders.
Requirements:
- A BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
- Must have proven experience working with children.
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact well with children and young people.
- Have enthusiasm, imagination and initiative.
- Full Clean Driving License with use of a car
