Speech and Language Therapist
Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Medforce are seeking a dedicated Staff Grade SLT to join our client’s multidisciplinary team, supporting children and adults who have complex needs across the East and Southeast of Ireland.
This is a hybrid role where you will have the option to work from home for part of your week and you will travel across different sites in Kildare, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Wexford.
As a Speech and Language Therapist in our client’s disability service, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centred care plans.
- Provide training and guidance to families, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Travel between counties as part of service delivery.

Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- CORU registration
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities including ASD, Intellectual Disability and Physical Disability.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport (mandatory).
Desirable:
- Training relevant to children’s disability services e.g. Hanen, Lámh, PECS, AAC, social skills, Intensive Interaction.
- Experience in training other professionals/carers in dysphagia management and communication supports.
