Job Opportunity: Social Care Worker (DCP Team)
Location: Southgate, Drogheda, Co. Louth
Hours: Full-Time (39 hours per week)

Medforce are recruiting an Innovative, Passionate and Committed Social Care Worker (7-8) for DCP who has genuine interest in supporting individuals in a residential care setting located in Drogheda, co. Louth.

The Social Care Worker should be responsible, reliable, and skilled in household management, creating a homely and supportive environment. They must possess maturity, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to empower individuals with diverse perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily living, personal care, and community integration in the DCP department.
- Develop and implement person-centered plans.
- Foster autonomy, advocacy, and social skills.
- Manage household operations, finances, and team coordination.
- Ensure compliance with policies, health, safety, and HIQA standards.
Requirements
- Level 7 qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with vulnerable adults.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and IT skills.
- Full driver’s license and own transport is preferred
