Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist – Adult Physical and Sensory Disability
Location: Louth

Shift Pattern: Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience HSE Payscale
Our client requires an experienced and compassionate Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their team, specializing in working with adults with physical and sensory disabilities. This role focuses on supporting clients in overcoming communication and swallowing challenges, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized therapy plans for adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, focusing on maximizing each client’s communication potential and quality of life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care.
- Offer guidance, training, and support to family members and caregivers.
- Mentor junior staff members, fostering professional growth and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with CORU registration.
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably working with adult physical and sensory disability populations.
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and team collaboration.
- Dedication to client-centered, empathetic care.
