Medforce are currently recruiting a Senior Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of a well-established voluntary organisation providing specialist disability services.
About the Service
The organisation is a long-standing voluntary provider, funded under Section 38 arrangements, delivering comprehensive supports to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Services include residential care, day services, independent living supports, vocational training, and specialist children’s disability services.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Children’s Disability Network Manager, the Senior Speech and Language Therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0–18 years and their families within a Children’s Disability Network Team.
This is a 12-month temporary whole-time contract.
Key Requirements
• Qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board at CORU
• Current registration on the Speech and Language Therapy Register maintained by CORU
• Minimum three years full-time (or aggregate equivalent) post-qualification clinical experience
• Experience working within paediatric and/or disability services desirable
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
