Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Are you a Senior Speech and Language Therapist passionate about supporting adults with acquired communication and swallowing needs? Medforce are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Senior SLT to join our client’s supportive and forward-thinking Adult Primary Care team in South Dublin (Blackrock/Stillorgan).
In this rewarding role, the Senior SLT will work across community settings including patients’ homes, care homes, and primary care centres, supporting adults with a wide range of acquired communication difficulties and dysphagia, including those related to stroke, progressive neurological conditions, dementia, and frailty. You will join a warm, welcoming, and values-driven team with supportive leadership and career progression pathways.
This is a 0.8 WTE post spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunties.
You will:

Provide high-quality assessment, differential diagnosis, and person-centred intervention

Support patients to maximise communication and swallowing outcomes and quality of life

Work closely with MDT colleagues across health and social care

Contribute to service development and clinical supervision of junior staff and students

Lead on specific projects and initiatives aligned with service priorities
We’re looking for a clinician who is:

A qualified SLT with CORU registration and significant post-qualification experience

Confident in managing a dysphagia and acquired communication caseload

Experienced in working in community or primary care settings (or keen to develop in this area)
