Senior Physiotherapist
Medforce are seeking a motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our cleint’s Primary Care team in Dun Laoghaire, managing a paediatric caseload. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and their families, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services in a community-based setting.
The Senior Physiotherapist will take on complex cases, provide mentorship to junior staff, and collaborate on innovative service development initiatives.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment to children with a range of developmental, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
- Develop individualised care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary team members.
- Support early intervention and prevention strategies within primary care.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and public health nurses.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students where required.
Requirements:
- Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
- Be registered on the Physiotherapist Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
- Post qualification clinical experience working with children in Primary care (desirable).
- Experience working as part of a MDT team (desirable)
- Proven ability of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Full driver’s license and use of car.
