About the Role:
Our client is a well known Hospital based in Cork and they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population, including inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation services. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes through evidence-based assessments, treatments, and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including rehabilitation, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff and physiotherapy students.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional and organizational standards.
Requirements:
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- CORU registration (or eligibility to register).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in a relevant area (e.g., acute, rehab, or outpatient services).
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Desirable:
- Experience in areas such as orthopaedics, neurology, or respiratory care.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
