Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist
CORU Registration is essential for this position.
Medforce are delighted to have partnered with a friendly and supportive children’s disability service located in South Tipperary to recruit a Senior Physiotherapist.

Working within a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals you will be responsible for:
- Clinical Expertise: Provide advanced physiotherapy assessments, treatment planning, and interventions for children with disabilities, including developmental delays, neurological conditions, and physical impairments.
- Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and supervise junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students.
- Family-Centered Care: Work closely with families and caregivers to provide education, guidance, and support tailored to each child’s needs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver holistic care.
- Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy services and initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date clinical records, reports, and treatment plans in line with professional and organizational standards.
- Continuing Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and attend relevant training to stay informed of current best practices in pediatric physiotherapy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric physiotherapy
- CORU registration is essential
- Prior experience working with children with disabilities
Contract: Initial 6 month contract with a view to extend
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week
