We are currently seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team in an acute setting in Co. Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior clinical role in a busy and supportive hospital setting.
About the Role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will lead in the provision of high-quality occupational therapy services across acute and rehabilitation settings, supporting patients in achieving their highest level of independence and function. You will also play a key role in service development, clinical supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
- Deliver advanced assessment and intervention in your clinical area
- Provide supervision and support to staff grade OTs and students
- Contribute to service planning and quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with MDT colleagues to ensure integrated patient care
Essential Requirements of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting
- Leadership experience and/or interest in clinical education and audit
