Successful candidates: You will be part of a team of qualified allied health professionals and support workers as well as a wider multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. CPD is actively encouraged and supported through regular supervision/appraisal and staff training.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunties.
The Role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Lead and manage a caseload of children with a variety of developmental, sensory, and functional needs.
- Provide high-quality assessments, intervention planning, and therapy services in line with evidence-based practices.
- Support families and caregivers with strategies to enhance children’s participation in daily life at home, school, and in the community.
- Mentor and supervise junior therapists, therapy assistants, and students.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, pediatricians, and educators.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and team training.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with CORU registration.
- Experience: working with children in a community setting is preferred but not required.
- Full clean Driver’s License with access to own vehicle.
- Skills: Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
